Job purpose:
Deliver reliability improvement projects and day to day reliability support as well as systematically update and optimize the preventive maintenance strategy to ensure safe operations and emphasize the ability of all equipment to function without failure, in collaboration with Sibelco plant maintenance, production and engineering teams. Set-up, follow-up and maintain relevant IT processes and reporting to support and visualize maintenance activities and KPI’s
Deliver technical project management of CAPEX projects, utilizing internationally standardized methods and internally developed best practices to ensure safe, sustainable, cost-effective, efficient and quality-proof mineral processing facilities.
Job description:
Lead and ensure execution of reliability excellence/maintenance programs.
Create and maintain reliability maintenance strategy documents.
Implement Lean manufacturing tools to empower employees and facilitate growth to ensure improvement of the financial performance, in collaboration with Maintenance Planners/Supervisors.
Rank the criticality of the assets and define proactive maintenance approaches that are cost-beneficial to the business.
Perform/support operational event and equipment failure investigations to determine effectiveness and to ensure that the root cause/causal factors are identified, corrective actions are prescribed, and follow-up monitoring is conducted.
Participate in the planning, design review, value management and construction document development of new facilities and renovations.
Support utility distribution, master planning, and business continuity planning.
Perform life-cycle financial modelling of developed technical solutions. Construct detailed technical proposals and draft bid documents.
Support commissioning activities for all upgrade, renovation, and construction projects which may include, but is not limited to, PM job plans, reviews for maintainability, critical spares, documentation, etc.
Lead in maintenance improvement tools (PM Optimization, RCM, RCA, RCFA, FMEA, etc.) and knowledgeable in predictive maintenance tools (Vibration, Ultrasound, Thermography)
Maintain equipment repair history and evaluate repair costs & trends.
Analyse equipment failure data patterns and interpret ERP PM maintenance data to generate priorities and action lists for improving reliability of site.
By working closely with the Maintenance Planners, use intervals for potential failures to appropriately prioritize, plan, and schedule to minimize downtime.
Advise and support the Maintenance Supervisors/Managers.
Coordinate the design, planning, procurement, execution and closure/handover of a CAPEX project.
Prepare, monitor and update cost and time estimation for projects.
Coordinate project activities and delegate tasks to dedicated functions (e.g. procurement, HS,Sustainability)
Be accountable for project risk management to ensure that project risks are identified,assessed, prioritized and mitigated.
Provide monthly project status reports using endorsed tools and templates to alert.
management of any deviation from the approved project scope.
Plan human resource needs for assigned CAPEX projects in accordance with the selected.
Project Delivery Model
Coach, coordinate and motivate the project team members in the project work throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage internal and external stakeholder relations and expectations.
Monitor and assure the achievement of expected performances.
Provide input for Project Review Meetings.
Ensure the right connection between internal Project stakeholders and external Engineers Process.
